Identification of binding-target and elucidation of pharmacologic effect of chemicals by high precision quantitative proteomics
We are developing a technology of quantitative proteomics to assist the drug discovery. By using nanotechnology, clean technology and advanced robot technology, we construct a high precision mass spectrometry system to determine the binding-target and elucidate the pharmacological efficacy of chemicals.
To support the quantitative proteomics by mass spectrometry, we use human proteome expression resource (HuPEX) and construct the high-throughput protein expression system for preparation of proteome-wide standard proteins (in vitro proteome) . In vitro proteome is also utilized the protein array system for detection of auto-antibodies in serum. The profiling of auto-antibodies is very useful for the diagnosis of disease.
